Our curriculum is created
for both native English speaking students and ESL students.
All classes are taught in English by experienced Native
English teachers. We also have certified early childhood
educators to help children adjust to school life. Below
is the methodology our school uses to achieve the goals
above:
- To give students enough attention and care, we keep
a good teacher to student ratio.
- To help students broaden their world, we teach various
subjects such as math, science, social studies, dance,
music, and art, as well as English. We also have sports
day, a school concert, and excursions that take students
outside the school.
- To improve students' English/math skills effectively,
we place students in appropriate English/math classes
according to their levels.
- To give students fair opportunities, we follow the
grade system (except English/math classes) unless a
child is proven to be a gifted child by a specialist.
- To stimulate student interest, we use various teaching
methods such as dialogues, flash cards, games, showing
or/and drawing pictures, gestures, assumption &
experiments, memorization, research, journals, speech,
etc.
- To motivate students, we always update and revise
our teaching materials to improve them.
- To have good communication with parents, we have a
communication notebook, school news letters, report
cards, open-house, and a parent-teacher conference once
per term.
- To involve parents in our school community, we sometimes
ask volunteers to help organize our school events. |
