生後8ヶ月から1歳11ヶ月までの赤ちゃんとお母様、またはお父様にご参加いただき、音楽やダンス、遊びなどを、英語で楽しみます。幼い頃から英語に親しむことで、自然にリスニングスキルを養い、英語や音楽のリズムを体で覚えることが目的です。 日本人はＲとＬを区別できないことで有名ですが、日本人の赤ちゃんでも８〜１０ヶ月までは二つの違いを聞き分けられるといいます。その後そうした音を耳にしないと、認識する脳細胞のニューロンが淘汰されていきますが、常に英語を聞いていれば、聞き分けられ、ニューロンが太く強くなるといいます。更に2歳からNew Sprouts や Spring Saplings で学ぶ場合、このBaby Seeds で養い太くしたニューロンが、どんどん関連づけられ繋がっていくと想定しています。 また、このクラスでは、お子様だけでなく、保護者の方にも、お子様をバイリンガルにするにはご自宅でどのようにサポートしていけばよいか、親子で出来るアクティビティや簡単な日常会話のフレーズなどを、ご紹介していきます。

For this class, we accept children from
8 months with their parents. This is a
time where parents and their children
can come and enjoy music, play, and
dance in an English environment.
During this time, the babies can
improve their listening skills and their
rhythmic body movement.
Not only is this a great English introduction for the children, but also
the parents can learn how to teach their children English at home
with the teaching skills that they learn at our school. We believe
that children must be introduced to English at an early stage in their
language development, and with this early introduction, children will
have a chance to be bilingual. If parents want their children to
become English speakers, then this class is the first step.

英語を母国語のように操れるようになるには、幼児期からの英語のシャワーが不可欠です。このクラスは、保護者から離れて安心できる環境の中で、楽しく遊び、先生に抱きしめてもらいながら、英語の響きを自然に体の中に浸透させていきます。
ご家庭では、ＴＶ（ビデオ）やＣＤなどの利用で受動的になりがちな英語学習を、Learning Tree では、生徒の一人ひとりの目を見て、しっかりと反応をキャッチしながら、ネイティブスピーカーの躍動的で愛情いっぱいの言葉かけと楽しいゲームなどで、英語に慣れ親しみながら自ら取り組んでもらえるようガイドします。 さらに、人生の土台となる幼児期の大切な時期に、ポジティブなセルフイメージや自信を育めるよう心を込めてサポートします。

In order to assist your child in becoming proficient in English, we
recommend that you place your child in an English speaking
environment, which nurtures their development and gives them
ample opportunities to practice English by using it in practical
situations. Here at Learning Tree, our aim is to create an
atmosphere which allows our students to be comfortable enough to
attempt to speak in English and develop socially without feeling
threatened. We believe that the ages 2 to 4 are important stages in
life for developing positive perspectives of ourselves and the world
around us, as well as acquiring languages. ﾅ@We plan to achieve
this through love, patience, understanding, and by giving each child
the adequate care and individual time they need. We hope through
this approach that our students will develop a positive attitude
toward themselves and their ability to learn. In turn, this will allow
them to become life-long learners, as well as develop their
understanding of the world.

Spring Saplings (ages4-6) では、New Sprouts (age2-4) で養った知識やスキルを基本に、さらに新しい目標を設定し、読み書きなどの実用的な教育と、生きる力、考える力を身に着ける両方の教育を融合させます。 この時期に、自分で問題を乗り越えて、目標を達成していく力を持つことが何より大切だと考え、フォニックスやトークタイムに加え、音楽、美術、理科、算数、社会、コンピュータ、料理、Show & Tellの8科目では、様々な事柄を取り上げていきます。 これらのクラスでは、情報を与えるだけではなく、情報を元に、英語でより良いコミュニケーションがとれる様ガイドし、学ぶ楽しさ、問題を解決する力を身につけます。 この実用的であり思考力を伸ばす教育は、生徒が卒業後学ぶいかなる場所でも通用すると信じています。

In our Spring
Saplings course, our objective is to build upon the
skills that our children already have in place and to
expand and to add new educational goals. In this course,
we want to merge practical education with critical thinking.
We will do this through helping our children learn practical
skills like writing, phonics, and reading. Yet a child
needs much more than just practical skills, they need
to develop their minds in other ways. In other words,
our children must have creative problem solving skills
to succeed. We will cultivate these skills in our students
through our specialized classes in music, art, science,
math, social studies, computers, and coo king.
Not only will these classes help the children open their
minds to new information, but they will also be improving
their English and will learn new ways to communicate.
Through learning these practical and critical thinking
skills, they will be prepared for almost any learning
situation. |

このクラスは、自主的に英語でのコミュニケーション能力を高めたいと思っている生徒さんのために作られました。スピーキング、リーディング、ライティングと３つのクラスで、話す力、読む力、書く力をバランスよく伸ばすことが出来る様カリキュラムを構成しています。
ネイティブやニアリーネイティブの生徒で英語を話せる生徒でも読み書きが出来なければ、その分野は基礎から学び、英語が話せない生徒でも読み書きが長けている生徒は、その時間は上のレベルで学べるように、それぞれのクラスでレベル別グループ分けをしています。きめ細やかにカリキュラムを構成し、講師も真剣に指導しておりますので、より良い成果を出すために、出来る限り多い日数ご参加いただけますようご協力下さい。他の英語教室との併用も歓迎です。英語は費やす時間で差が出てきますので、本気で英語習得を考えている方のご参加をお願いしています。

This class is designed to help
participants improve their
communication in English. We
place the students according to
their level inspecific groups and
implement a detailed plan to help
each child reach their English
goals in the following areas:
speaking, reading, and writing.
These three hours offer quality individual time, as well as group time
where the students can practice and learn English in a comfortable
environment. In addition, nearly-native and native speakers will
have time to work on their homework from their international s
chools, along with improve their reading and writing skills. For these
special students, our school can also provide them with a place to
increase their English ability to stay competitive in their own learning
environment. All of our students, during our group time, will learn
and/or improve their English skills through a variety of fun and
educational activities. Overall, our after school class is a time where
any student can improve their English skills to help them excel in
the future.

| Unlike
our regular school programs, our summer school brings
together children of varying ages. From the beginner
to the native or nearly-native speakers, we choose topics
and concepts that appeal to children. Before each summer
school session, our curriculum department researches
and assembly weekly lessons that draw from subjects
like science, math, communications, and others, and
employs a variety of teaching styles to stimulate the
minds of all our students. |

短期限りの特別コースです。9時45分〜13時45分の4時間のクラスと15時〜18時の3時間のクラスがあり、1日から申込可能です。季節に応じたテーマ、例えば「クリスマスの本当の意味を探ろう。キリストの誕生からクリスマスを祝うようになった歴史を紐解く」「いろいろな国のお正月」などのテーマに沿って学習を行います。 |

| For winter
school, we again teach children of multiple ages and
levels. Since the time is shorter, usually two weeks
compared to seven weeks of summer school, we create
more specific lesson plans. Along with winter-themed
topics, we offer tutoring for those children who need
extra help in a curtain subject. As with all of our
programs, we work toward expanding the minds for students
in an effort to make them better human beings. |
